{"id":7660,"date":"2021-05-28T22:46:18","date_gmt":"2021-05-28T14:46:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/huiji.com.sg\/?p=7660"},"modified":"2021-05-28T22:46:18","modified_gmt":"2021-05-28T14:46:18","slug":"huiji-braised-duck-with-sea-cucumber","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/huiji.com.my\/zh\/huiji-braised-duck-with-sea-cucumber\/","title":{"rendered":"Huiji Braised Duck with Sea Cucumber"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4>\u6210\u5206<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Duck: 1\/2 whole<\/li>\n<li>Sea cucumber (soaked): 8 pcs<\/li>\n<li>Dried Mushroom (soaked and halved): 10 pcs<\/li>\n<li>Huiji Waist Tonic: 120ml<\/li>\n<li>Sesame oil: 2 tbsp<\/li>\n<li>Oyster sauce: 4 tbsp<\/li>\n<li>Dark soya sauce: 2 tbsp<\/li>\n<li>Light soya sauce: 5 tbsp<\/li>\n<li>Shao Xing Hua Tiao cooking wine: 2tbsp<\/li>\n<li>Ginger: 4 slices<\/li>\n<li>Garlic (minced): 3 cloves<\/li>\n<li>Sugar: 1 1\/4 tsp<\/li>\n<li>Chicken stock cube: 1 pc<\/li>\n<li>Salt: 1 tsp<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h4>Method<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>Marinate the duck with 1tbsp sesame oil, 2 tbsp oyster sauce, 1 tbsp dark soya sauce, 2 tbsp light soya sauce, 2 tbsp Shao Xing Hua Tiao cooking wine, and 40ml Huiji Waist Tonic.<\/li>\n<li>Add a few dashed of pepper.<\/li>\n<li>Marinate for 2 hours in the fridge.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare the ingredients. Fry the sea cucumber.<\/li>\n<li>Heat up the pan and add the ginger. Fry till fragrant.<\/li>\n<li>Add in the soaked sea cucumber. Add in a cap of Shaoxing Huatiao cooking wine. Fry until the water from the sea cucumber is gone.<\/li>\n<li>Next, fry the mushroom. Add sesame oil to the pan and fry the minced garlic until fragrant.<\/li>\n<li>Add in the mushroom, 1 tsp of light soya sauce and 1\/4 tsp sugar. Fry and set aside.<\/li>\n<li>After the duck is marinated for 2-3 hours, fry it to maintain the shape.<\/li>\n<li>Heat 2 tbsp of oil and add in the duck with the skin side down. Make sure to keep the marinate sauce for later use.<\/li>\n<li>Then, place all the ingredients into a pressure cooker. Add in the sauce from the marinate and make sure to add in enough water to cover the duck.<\/li>\n<li>Add in 2 tbsp of oyster sauce, 2 tbsp of light soya sauce, 1 tbsp of dark soya sauce, and 1 chicken cube and 80ml Huiji Waist Tonic.<\/li>\n<li>Boil for about 25-30 minutes on a pressure cooker.
